【level 1】 Nicole's Chinese Mandarin for the Real World 2024
updating……
This is a pre-order course. The first unit has published already. Before I finish other units, if you want to add any content to our lessons, let me know. Your suggested topics might be included in our future classes.
By the end of this course, you'll be able to handle most daily conversations with ease. In terms of HSK levels, this course covers all of HSK1 and most of HSK2.
•Description date
This course will help you master basic daily Chinese communication, including self-introduction, asking about others, describing personal interests and weather, and handling various everyday scenarios.
The duration depends on the individual. If you finish this course and spend 30-120 minutes per day studying and practicing, it will take approximately 3 to 4 months to master the course content and reach a basic conversational level, equivalent to HSK 2 (CEFR A2).
You don't have to purchase additional books. All necessary learning materials and practice resources are included in the course fee. However, if you're interested, you can buy standard Chinese HSK 1-2 textbooks. Although some dialogues and words in the HSK series are outdated, it remains the most authoritative textbook for Chinese learning, and the grammar sections are very useful. Anyway, all grammar covered in these textbooks is also included in my course materials, so purchasing them is optional.
During my course level 1, which covers HSK 1-2 or before you learn 300 Chinese words and phrases, you do not need to focus on writing characters. Instead, you should concentrate on learning pronunciation and grammatical structure. You will be exposed to the structure and features of Chinese characters to some extent. For characters with the same or similar pronunciation, it's better to remember their shapes. You can memorize the shapes in any way that suits you, without needing to learn how to write them.
Certainly, anytime. If you're not satisfied with the course, your money means nothing to me. Please let me know immediately, and I'll refund you in full.
1,【Pronunciation + Listening】: Listening is more crucial than practice initially. Let your ears get accustomed to and learn Chinese first, then your brain, and finally your mouth. Recommended listening materials include the Chinese version of Peppa Pig, rewatching TV shows or movies you've already seen on Netflix with Chinese audio, and the audio recordings provided for all dialogues in this course, which needs to listen repeatedly. Additionally, you can listen to my Podcast: every little thing Chinese. You can find all the scripts for my Podcast in the community section on the homepage. It's more efficient to listen to it while following along with the scripts. Once you've done all this, start shadowing practice. 🎙️📻Podcast:every little thing Chinese spotify-https://open.spotify.com/show/5u0EELFRaXXWfQcu8WAMN6 apple-https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/every-little-thing-chinese/id1733346642 scripts-https://nicolechinese.thinkific.com/communities/Q29tbXVuaXR5LTExNDk1NA==/spaces/Q29tbXVuaXR5U3BhY2UtMjA3NDEy/ 2,【Fluent Conversation】: There's no alternative to conversing with real people.
